All orders are processed and shipped on the day they are received when the order reaches us by 6pm EST Monday through Friday during the winter months, and Monday through Thursday during the Summer.
How much will it cost to ship my order?
We have made it simple and easy for you to calculate your shipping costs. For 2-3 day service, shipped to a single address, one item costs $12.00 and each additional item costs another $4. For Overnight Service, shipped to a single address, one item costs $18.00 and each additional item costs another $5. Please note that these prices apply to items shipped to one address only. To ship items to multiple addresses, please see our Large Orders page or use our contact us form to discuss your specific needs.
How will I know that my order has been shipped?
You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped, which will include your tracking number. You can also easily track your order on our website, on your Account Page.
Do you ship during the Summer?
We ship Leonidas Belgian Chocolates year round! However, when shipping to particularly hot climates, we strongly recommend that you select our Overnight Service to guarantee that your order reaches its destination in optimum condition. We WILL NOT ship over the weekend during the Summer – all orders using the 2-3 Day Service received past 6pm EST on Wednesdays, and all orders shipped on our Overnight Service received past 6pm EST on Thursdays, will not be shipped until the following Monday, so the order will not be in transit over the weekend.
Do you ship outside the US?

How late can I order during the holidays?

We do our best to ensure that all orders will be received in time. However, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by inclement weather in transit. We recommend that in the winter months, especially during the Holidays, you order as early as possible.
Can I order now and receive my shipment at a later date?
Yes, but we are unable to process these requests through our website. To arrange a future delivery date, simply call us during store hours at 1-800-900-CHOC.

Do you offer Gift Certificates?
Yes! We offer Gift Certificates. They will be sent to your recipient via email, and are redeemable on our website for online ordering.
How do I redeem my Gift Certificate?
Gift Certificates are redeemable on our website only. To pay with your Gift Certificate, simply select the appropriate payment method during the Check Out process. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
Can you accommodate large orders?

You can sign up for our email service to get a limited number of messages from us. Unlike many other companies, we will not flood your mailbox with unwanted mail. We only send time sensitive reminders for the holidays as well as a handful of special offers during the year, to a maximum of a 12 e-mails per year.

Will I be required to pay Sales Tax?
Because we are based in New York, we are required to collect New York State Sales Tax at 8.875% on orders that are shipped within New York State. NYS Sales Tax is not applicable and will not be collected on any other orders.
What if I made an error in my order?
Please contact us immediately! We understand that mistakes happen and will do everything in our power to make the necessary corrections before shipping. However, once the items have shipped we cannot make any further revisions to your order.
Common customer errors include: entering incorrect addresses, selecting the wrong item or quantity, etc. Please double check your order carefully before submitting!
